Walnut and its fruits getting ready to dye some yarn

ROOTED AT HOME

The name of our homewear studio comes from the Quechua verb: kutichiy, which means: to return, to come around. This circularity translates into our creative purposes, through an intention to give back and return to nature, loop her back into home and allow ourselves to tune in oneness with earth.

All of our pieces are handmade with natural yarn and botanical dyes. Each piece becomes a unique manifestation of the artist that wove it and their creative rhythm.

At kutichi, we hope to inspire the birth of a new way to tend to our home, the same way that we tend to nature. Our intention is rooted in dressing with care, and with uplifting design that makes us vibrate in togetherness.

ANCESTRAL PRACTICE

We believe the way we dress our home is important. Our homewares become eternal reminders of our connection with nature. At kutichi, we craft high-vibrational pieces tha bring the power of nature back within.

Through ancestral techniques and plant color extraction, we create exquisitely unique pieces that tell stories deeply rooted in nature and their inhabitants. Here, we honour generational creative practices that have transcended time.

Each kutichi piece is entirely handmade with the softest and rawest natural materials. Things of quality have no fear of time.
